Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, 78, returned to her home in Charabra on Saturday after a routine health check-up at IGMC Hospital in Shimla, officials said.
She was in Shimla on a personal visit with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi. Earlier in the day, Sonia Gandhi had complained of high blood pressure, so doctors carried out several tests, including an ECG and MRI. Doctors confirmed that her condition is now stable.”She visited IGMC for a routine check-up and has now returned home,” said Dr. Aman from the hospital.Naresh Chauhan, media advisor to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, also confirmed the development.

Sonia Gandhi arrived in Shimla on Monday and has been staying at Priyanka Gandhi’s residence in Charabra, located on the outskirts of the city. The visit was a personal one, and she had been spending time away from public engagements.
