Three institutes from Gujarat are listed in the top 100 educational institutes in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Management) Education Ranking.
IIT Gandhinagar is ranked 22nd, Gujarat University is 67th, and Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is 96th.
Gujarat University and MSU Baroda are the only two public universities from the state to be included in the country’s top 100 list. The ranking website stated, “The STEM Education Rankings by Chronicles of India are designed to evaluate and celebrate the performance of higher education institutions offering programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Management (STEM). These rankings aim to empower institutions to enhance their academic rigor, research outcomes, industry partnerships, and employability.”
