The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur announced the JEE Advanced 2025 results on June 2. Three students from Vadodara secured positions within the top 500 All India Ranks (AIR). Students who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in.
Aadit Bhaghade, a student from Vadodara who secured the 94th rank nationally, said that he focused heavily on mock tests to achieve success in the exam. After completing each mock test, he would discuss the results with friends and correct his mistakes.
Bhagade now aims to pursue Computer Science at one of the top three IITs in the country. Although both his parents are doctors, he had an interest in engineering from the beginning.
Notably, Bhagade clinched 14th rank in JEE Mains in April 2025.
Other achievers from Vadodara are Shaurya Gupta (237th), and Dhyan Shah (366th).
Shaurya Gupta shared that his sister is an IIT graduate and his cousin also studied at IIT, which inspired him to prepare for the JEE and aim for IIT.
For the past two years, Gupta avoided watching movies and going out unnecessarily. He made a study timetable but did not take any extra coaching or efforts beyond that. His parents are doctors, but he wants to become a computer engineer.
Dhyan Shah, who got the 366th rank, shared that although both his parents are doctors, he was always interested in mathematics, which is why he chose engineering. He said that having a good study environment is very important. He studied 7 to 8 hours every day and believes that such hard work is necessary to do well in JEE. Dhyan now plans to study Computer Engineering.
About 1.80 lakh students from across India appeared for both papers of the JEE Advanced exam. From Vadodara, over 700 students qualified for the exam, and around 250 of them are expected to get admission into different colleges.
