IPL Final in Ahmedabad Leads to Black Market Ticket Sales

The PKBS vs RCB IPL 2025 Final will take place on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Due to high demand, many people are selling tickets illegally at almost three times the original price. This has allowed scalpers to make huge profits.

Business News

Fans who couldn’t get tickets from official sources are now being forced to pay very high prices. Because of the excitement around the final, all the tickets were sold out within a few hours of being released.

Scalpers who bought IPL final tickets online are now selling them for up to three times the original price on Facebook and WhatsApp. For example, tickets for the President Gallery that cost ₹15,000 are now being sold for ₹30,000 to ₹35,000. South Premium tickets priced at ₹6,500 are going for ₹17,000. Even cheaper tickets worth ₹1,500 are being sold for ₹5,000, and ₹2,500 tickets are being sold for ₹7,500. Fans are being forced to pay these high prices.Surprisingly, even free passes are being sold at double rates. Some scalpers are also selling tickets near the stadium. Because of the final match, all hotels in Ahmedabad are fully booked, with many fans coming from other states. This has helped the local hotel business a lot.
