Heavy rain lashed multiple localities in Ahmedabad, including S G Highway, Juhapura-Sarkhej, Vatva, Ghodasar, New Ranip, Chandkheda, Motera, Shahibaug, Income-Tax, Navrangpura, and Maninagar.
The India Meteorological Department had already predicted rain in advance, and the forecast appears to have proven accurate. Additionally, strong winds have also been forecasted for the next few days.
According to the Reports heavy rain in parts of Ahmedabad led to knee-deep water at Ajit Mill crossroads in Bapunagar and near Vorana Roza in Amdupura, making it hard for people to travel. Even after the rain stopped, the water hadn’t drained by morning.
