The online application process for the first phase of admissions on the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal has been extended until May 21. As of May 16, more than 2.08 lakh students have completed quick registration on the GCAS portal.
For the academic year 2025–26, the quick registration process began on March 25 to facilitate student admissions into various undergraduate programs through the GCAS portal. The process of filling out the complete form and verifying the online application started on May 9.
To support the admission process into undergraduate programmes, around 1,000 free form-filling and verification centers have been set up by universities and colleges. These centres have benefitted around 50,000 students and parents.
