Hundreds of individuals have lined up to volunteer, eager to assist in the ongoing crisis. This surge of support comes in response to the escalating situation at the border, particularly following the launch of Operation Sindoor, which was carried out to avenge the tragic deaths of 26 civilians in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Videos of Chandigarh locals enthusiastically filling out forms and volunteering to help during this time of crisis have gone viral on social media, touching the hearts of many and showcasing the true spirit of Indian patriotism. The crowd gathered in large numbers, chanting powerful slogans like “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” reflecting their unwavering support for the nation.
Some locals gathered to submit forms, eager to give back to the nation, while others expressed a strong desire to join the military and help defend the country. Their resolve reflects the deep patriotism within the community.
One local, Parambir Singh, says, “Hum ek tarah se desh ki humare taraf se seva karne aaye hai. Humne form bhardiye hai aur ab hum Sector 17 ye dene jaa rahe hai”.
Another local, Karan Chopra, said while conversing with ANI that he is ready to die for the country, assures that whenever the need arrives they are ready to help and urges authorities to give them weapons so they can defend the nation.
A local woman from Chandigarh, Muskan, told ANI that we all have gathered here to support our army further stating that she too has filled the volunteer forms and will “support the army like the army supports us”
