Car Crashes Into Bus While Overtaking In Ahmedabad; 1 Dead, 2 Injured

A tragic accident in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, left one dead and two injured when a speeding car crashed into a bus at a bus stand. The incident was caught on CCTV and shared on social media.

The CCTV footage shows a bus stopping at a bus stand to pick up passengers. As another bus passes by, a speeding car tries to overtake by squeezing between them but loses control and crashes into the rear of the stationary bus.

Fortunately, a major tragedy was avoided as the car hit the right side of the bus, leaving around 10 to 12 passengers on the other side unharmed. The impact was so strong that it pushed the bus about 8 to 10 feet, according to a report.

After the accident, local residents informed the Ahmedabad police, municipal authorities, and fire brigade, who quickly arrived at the scene. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a liquor bottle inside the car. Police later confirmed finding a broken bottle and collected blood samples from both individuals to check for intoxication. Legal action will be taken if alcohol consumption is confirmed.
