The Disha Salian death case has taken a new turn with the filing of an FIR by Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian. Advocate Nilesh Ojha, representing the family, confirmed that a written complaint was filed at the office of the Commissioner of Police (CP), which has now been registered as an FIR.
The FIR names several prominent individuals as accused in the case, including Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, his bodyguard, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, Sachin Vaze, and actress Rhea Chakraborty.
According to Ojha, Parambir Singh is alleged to be the key figure behind the cover-up of the case. “Parambir Singh was the main mastermind behind the cover-up. He conducted a press conference and fabricated lies to protect Aaditya Thackeray,”Ojha stated.
The FIR also includes serious allegations, with Ojha highlighting that the investigation papers from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have revealed Aaditya Thackeray’s involvement in the drug trade. “These details have been mentioned in the FIR, further strengthening the case,”Ojha added.
Earlier, Satish Salian approached the Bombay High Court seeking a probe into his daughter’s death and requesting the registration of an FIR against Aaditya Thackeray, among others.
Disha Salian, a talent manager, was found dead on 8 June 2020, just days before Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered hanging in his Bandra flat on 14 June 2020. Her father has demanded a fresh investigation into her death and called for the interrogation of UBT-Shiv Sena’s Aditya Thackeray.
On Saturday, CBI filed the closure report in a Mumbai court nearly five years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Sushant’s postmortem, conducted at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, cited asphyxia as the cause of death.
The Bombay High Court has scheduled a hearing for Disha Salian’s case on 2 April.
