In anticipation of the annual Dakor pilgrimage, the Additional Collector has issued a notification imposing traffic restrictions on major routes leading to Dakor from March 9th to 15th. The restrictions are aimed at ensuring the smooth and safe movement of pilgrims during this period.
No Entry for Vehicles on Key Routes
During the specified dates, a “No Entry” order will be in effect for all vehicles on the following routes:
Raska Pota Canal (Ahmedabad Road) to Mahemdavad, Khatraj, Mahudha Chowkdi, Alina Chowkdi, Gayo Na Vada, Dakor, and Mahudha T-Point Dakor.
Kheda Chowkdi to Khatraj Chowkdi.
Nadiad Kamsha Chowkdi to Khatraj Chowkdi towards Mahemdavad and Ahmedabad.
Nadiad to Dakor Road (via Salun) towards Dakor (for all heavy vehicles).
Nadiad Bilodra Jail Chowkdi to Mahudha, Kathlal Kapadvanj (for heavy vehicles).
Kathlal Chowkdi to Mahudha Chowkdi towards Nadiad and Mahemdavad (for heavy vehicles).
Ladvel Chowkdi to Dakor (for all heavy vehicles).
Ahmedabad-Indore Highway (Kathlal Sitapur Patiya to Mahisa and Alina Chowkdi for heavy vehicles).
Sevaliya to Dakor (for all heavy vehicles).
Ambav Railway Crossing to Galateshwar Bridge towards Savli (and vice versa).
Alternative Routes Provided
To facilitate the movement of essential traffic, alternative routes have been designated:
Raska Pota Hat diversion to Hirapura Chowkdi.
Mahudha T-Point Dakor to Ladvel Chowkdi.
Nadiad Mill Road, Dabhan Chowkdi, or Expressway.
Nadiad Chaklasi Bhagol diversion to College Road and Highway No. 8.
Dabhan Highway or Expressway.
Ladvel Chowkdi diversion to Fagvel.
