Ahmedabad will have traffic diversions on Wednesday due to Bhadrakali Mata-ji’s Nagar Yatra, which is expected to attract over 5,000 devotees. The procession will feature Mataji’s chariot, five small elephant vehicles, Jagannath Temple’s elephant, Akhada artists, a Nashik dhol group, five flags carried by sadhus, a band group, a DJ truck, three bhajan mandalis, 15 cars, and 100 two-wheelers. To manage traffic and ensure public safety, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik has issued a public notice under the Gujarat Police Act.
The procession will start from Shree Bhadrakali Mataji Temple and pass through key points, including Karanj Police Station, Teen Darwaza, Pankor Naka, Manek Chowk, Gol Gali, Municipal Kotha, Gol Limda, Khamasa Crossroads, Jagannath Temple, Akhandanand Circle, Vasant Chowk, Lal Darwaza, Apna Bazaar, Sidi Saiyyed’s Jali, Bijli Ghar, Shree Bahuchar Mata Temple, before returning to Shree Bhadrakali Mataji Temple.
