Asmita Chakraborty, originally from Jalpaiguri City in West Bengal, currently resides in New Delhi. Having spent much of her childhood in Oman and Yemen before relocating to New Delhi, she stands 5 feet 8 inches tall with black hair and black eyes. Asmita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and works as an architect, in addition to being a model and social activist. She has walked the runway for several prominent fashion brands and is actively involved with an NGO that empowers women and promotes self-reliance.
Asmita has always excelled academically, securing an AIR of 887 in JEE-Mains. She is also a trained dancer and singer, specializing in Indian Classical music and Bharatnatyam. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, Asmita is a polyglot. In December 2023, she represented India at the Miss Tourism World competition in China.
