The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released important information for students preparing to take the Class 10 and 12 board examinations from February 15.
To ensure that the integrity of the examination is maintained, the board has released the list of items prohibited and permitted in examination centres.
The guidelines this year emphasise on strict penalties upon violations. Students found in possession of mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any other electronic items during the exams will face a two-year suspension from future examinations. Additionally, those spreading rumours that disrupt the examination process will be barred from participating in the current and subsequent year’s exams.
All students will be subject to physical frisking before entering the examination venue to maintain security.
