An artistic ode to his father
Clue to Contentment,’ the solo show of works by Kolhapur-based artist Parshvnath Nandre, exhibits works he created as an ode to his father, whose values and ethics Nandre considers his most valuable inheritance. As per Nandre, the concept of this exhibition revolves around his memories of his father, with “every visit to the fields a reminder of his labour reflected in the colours and fragrance of those fields.” In his works, the artist has imagined the world through his father’s eyes, wondering what the latter must’ve thought of about the same. ‘Clue to Contentment,’ says Nandre, is an ode of gratitude to
his father.

Dekho Main Hoon (Look… It’s Me), meanwhile, sees a crew observe Navtej Singh Johar’s workshop space where participants explore touch, intimacy and expression, while in Andar Bahar (Inside Out), a drag artist explores the comfort of performing on a stage versus being on the public streets.
