The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued three separate e-tenders, including the widening of the main entry-exit road at Surat International Airport. The other works, which include the provision of Tyre Killers, Bollards, street lighting, and associated civil works, are part of the airport’s ongoing infrastructure improvements.
The civil works for widening the main entry-exit road at the airport are estimated to cost around Rs. 5.81 crore (excluding GST). The project, set to be completed in four months after commencement, aims to improve traffic flow and connectivity at Surat International Airport.
Bidders are required to submit two envelopes online through the CPP portal according to the provided schedule. Bid submission opens on February 1st, 2025 at 11:00 hrs and closes on February 22nd, 2025 at 18:00 hrs, which is also the deadline for submitting original Insurance Surety Bond or BG against EMD if not paid online.
The second work under the project involves the installation of Tyre Killers, Bollards, and associated works at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.26 crore (excluding GST). This project is expected to be completed in three months. For this work bids can be submitted starting February 2nd, 2025 at 15:00 Hrs, with the deadline for submission on February 23rd, 2025 at 15:00 Hrs.
Meanwhile, the provision of street lighting and associated works is estimated to cost Rs. 76.13 lakh (excluding GST) and will also be completed within three months. Bids can be submitted starting February 2nd, 2025 at 09:00 Hrs, with the final submission deadline being February 23rd, 2025 at 15:00 Hrs.
