The Gujarat government has allocated Rs 188 crore for road safety measures across the state. In a meeting chaired by CM Bhupendra Patel, it was decided to spend Rs 100.53 crore on 80 projects to improve 329 km of accident-prone roads, and Rs 87.52 crore on installing anti-glare systems on four-lane and six-lane highways.
