The Standing Committee meeting of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today passed proposals for several public works in the city.
– Rs. 17.18 crore for a new water distribution station network with a 25-liter overhead water tank and a 98 lakh-liter underground water tank in Vasna ward.
– Rs. 17.39 crore for DR rising line and sewage pumping station near Ekta Nagar in Danilimda ward.
– Rs. 14.06 crore for the expansion of the water distribution station at Keshavnagar in Stadium ward.
– Rs. 22.96 crore for a new water distribution station with underground and overhead water tanks in Vatva ward TP 79.
– Rs. 20.24 crore for the Nikol water distribution center, including underground and overhead tanks and network.
– Rs. 10.10 crore for a stormwater disposal pumping station in Madhumalti area of Nikol ward.
– Rs. 9.59 crore for a new library in TP 24 municipal plot in Jodhpur ward.
– Rs. 8.54 crore for rainwater line and drainage line desilting using modern techniques in various wards.
– Rs. 5.25 crore for the replacement of Jivanvadi drainage pumping station’s rising main line in Viratnagar ward.
– Rs. 5.69 crore for Shahid Vann water expansion work in Vasna.
– Rs. 2.43 crore for design consultancy to develop a vegetable market in Naranpura TP 29.
– Rs. 4.88 crore for the reconstruction of the municipal school near Manubhai Garden in Gomtipur ward.
– Rs. 3.37 crore for an Urban Health Centre at Nikol Katholwala TP 100 in Nikol ward.
– Rs. 6.23 crore for the revamp and repair of Naroda main community hall.
– Rs. 3.47 crore for a new Urban Health Centre at Sabarmati ward’s TP 21 Motera final plot 356 backside.
– Rs. 4.22 crore for laying a stormwater rising line to Chandola Talav for sustained waterlogging solutions in the Ektanagar area of Danilimda ward, with the construction of a new stormwater sump.
– Rs. 77.15 crore for interlinking ponds to reduce urban flooding in Ahmedabad city through the National Disaster Mitigation Fund.
