Western Railway has decided to run Three pairs of Maha Kumbh Mela Special Trains on Special Fare between Ahmedabad – Janghai, Rajkot – Banaras and Veraval – Banaras stations.
According to Vineet Abhishek – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the special trains are as under:
- Train No. 09403/09404 Ahmedabad – Janghai Maha Kumbh Mela Special (18 Trips)
Train No. 09403 Ahmedabad – Janghai Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 21:15 hrs and reach Janghai at 03:00 hrs, the third day. This train will run on 09th, 16th, 21st January & 05th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 19th, 26th February 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09404 Janghai – Ahmedabad Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Janghai at 08:30 hrs and reach Ahmedabad at 18:00 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 11th, 18th, & 23rd January 2025 & 07th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 28th February, 2025.
Enroute this train will halt at Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur and Prayagraj station in both directions.
This train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
- Train No. 09537/09538 Rajkot – Banaras Maha Kumbh Mela Special (06 Trips).
Train No. 09537 Rajkot – Banaras Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Rajkot at 06.05 hrs and reach Banaras at 14.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 06th, 15th and 19th February, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09538 Banaras – Rajkot Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Banaras at 19.30 hrs and reach Rajkot at 04.10 hrs, the third day. This train will run on 07th, 16th, and 20th February, 2025.
Enroute this train will halt at Wankaner, Surendranager Jn., Viramgam, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj and Gyanpur Road station in both directions.
This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class Coaches.
- Train No. 09591/09592 Veraval – Banaras Maha Kumbh Mela Special (02 Trips)
Train No. 09591 Veraval – Banaras Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Veraval at 22:20 hrs and reach Banaras at 14.45 hrs, the third day. This train will run on 22nd February, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09592 Banaras – Veraval Maha Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Banaras at 19:30 hrs and reach Veraval at 09:00 hrs, the third day. This train will run on 24th February, 2025.
Enroute this train will halt at Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar Jn., Viramgam, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj and Gyanpur Road station in both directions.
This train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
