Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport continues to dominate Gujarat’s passenger traffic, retaining its position as the state’s busiest airport for both domestic and international operations. In FY 2024-25 (up to October 2024), Ahmedabad handled a total of 64.05 lakh passengers, including 60.24 lakh domestic and 3.80 lakh international travelers, according to provisional data.
Surat Airport secured the second spot, managing 9.81 lakh passengers during the same period, including 9 lakh domestic and 80,800 international travelers. Vadodara followed closely, recording 6.81 lakh passengers, though it lacks international services.
Among other airports, Rajkot saw a notable performance with 5.74 lakh passengers, while smaller airports like Bhuj, Jamnagar, and Bhavnagar witnessed moderate traffic.
