The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, a major infrastructure project under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, is expected to open by early 2025. The expressway will reduce travel time between Ahmedabad and Dholera to just 40-45 minutes, significantly improving regional connectivity.
The expressway will start at Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in Ahmedabad and extend to Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), passing key landmarks such as the upcoming Dholera International Airport at Navagam. Initially a four-lane roadway, the expressway will support a speed limit of 120 km/h, with future expansion plans to accommodate up to twelve lanes.
