The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will introduce a daily Volvo Bus Service from Ahmedabad Airport to Dhordo from Saturday. The service will pass through Bhuj to cater to the increasing influx of tourists visiting the Kutch Rann Utsav. This new service is designed to provide seamless transport options for tourists arriving from abroad and other states.
The Kutch Rann Utsav has gained significant recognition nationally and internationally resulting in a surge in tourist numbers over the past four years, including an increasing influx of foreign visitors. To support this trend and facilitate convenient travel, GSRTC has commenced the direct bus service to ensure tourists can travel efficiently from Ahmedabad Airport to Dhordo without interruption.
According to Ahmedabad Airport sources, the bus service will operate daily, departing from Terminal 2 (International Terminal) at 6 am every morning. The Volvo buses will have a seating capacity of 47 passengers. Additionally, a return service from Dhordo to Ahmedabad will be available daily at 12 midnight.
The fare for the journey from Ahmedabad Airport to Bhuj will be Rs 901, while travel from Ahmedabad Airport to Dhordo will cost Rs 1,093. The same fare structure will be applicable for the return journey from Dhordo to Ahmedabad Airport.
