The Ministry of Railways has announced changes to train operations at Ahmedabad’s Kalupur Railway Station to accommodate infrastructure work for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project.
As per the Railway Board’s notification on November 25, 2024, two trains will now operate from Sabarmati Railway Station. Meanwhile, twelve trains will originate from Maninagar Railway Station, and twenty-five trains will terminate at Vatva Railway Station.
Additionally, four trains will now use Asarva Railway Station as their terminal. The changes aim to reduce congestion at Kalupur and ensure smoother construction of the high-speed rail corridor.
