Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) set a new record by handling over 3.6 lakh passengers during the festive rush over the past ten days. With more than 2,900 flights handled during this period, the airport ensured smooth and efficient operations for travellers during one of the busiest times of the year.
On November 7 SVPIA recorded its highest passenger footfall of the year. Over 41,700 passengers passed through its terminals on that day, with 313 Aircraft Traffic Movements (ATMs). The second-highest passenger movement was noted on November 5, with more than 40,700 passengers and 296 flight movements.
