A 77-year-old male passenger, Bhanuprasad Dave, passed away at Ahmedabad airport on Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack. He had arrived from the US on an Indigo flight via Delhi.
Dave was travelling from Delhi to Ahmedabad on a domestic Indigo flight, which landed at 7:30 am. Dave, who was wheelchair-bound, collapsed while dis- embarking from the aerobridge at Ahmedabad airport.
An emergency medical team was immediately called to the scene. Despite their efforts, Dave’s condition deteriorated rapidly and he was pronounced dead. Subsequently, his body was transferred to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.
