The State Examination Board has announced the schedule for the account examination for Assistant Education Inspectors in Gujarat.
This examination will take place over two days, starting November 30, and candidates will have to complete their online application forms by October 28. The examination will consist of four papers, of 400 marks, using an offline OMR-based format.
The examination will be held for Assistant Education Inspectors and Assistant Teachers in secondary and higher secondary education, as well as for Assistant District Education Inspectors and Extension Officers (Education) under the Panchayat service.
The exams are scheduled for November 30 and December 1, with two sessions each day—one in the morning from 10 am to 1 pm and another in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Each paper will carry 100 marks, and candidates must secure at least 50% in any subject to receive a subject-specific exemption. However, to pass the examination, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% in each paper.
The examination will only be conducted at the Gandhinagar center. Candidates are required to submit a printed copy of their completed application forms along with necessary documents to their respective DEO-DPIO offices by October 29.
The DEO-DPIOs must send the collected forms to the Commissioner of Schools and the Director of Primary Education by November 6, and to the Secretary of the Examination Board by November 12.
