The award was presented at the prestigious India MICE Awards ceremony in New Delhi on Monday.
Gandhinagar: The Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, managed by The Leela Gandhinagar, has been recognised as the “Best Exhibition and Convention Centre of India” at the prestigious India MICE Awards.
The India MICE Awards is a premier national event that brings together the best in hospitality, travel and event management. With participation from over 10,000 five-star hotels, resorts, restaurants, tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies, event management companies, and more, the awards recognise excellence across various categories in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
The much-coveted “Best Exhibition and Convention Centre of India” award was presented to The Leela Gandhinagar and Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre at a grand gala in New Delhi on Monday in the presence of the best of the travel, tourism, lifestyle and hospitality industry from across India and the world.

Owned by the Gandhinagar Railway and Urban Development Corporation (GARUD) and managed by The Leela Gandhinagar, the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre is inspired by the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. Spanning over 34 acres, it is one of the biggest convention centres in the country. The Centre hosts the biennial Vibrant Gujarat Summit and other national and international events, expos and conventions. The Centre can accommodate over 15,000 people in AC halls and over 6,000 in theatre-style halls. It is also equipped with four senior rooms, three exhibition centres, seven conference halls and modern meeting and conference rooms.
