Ratan Tata, the 86-year-old former chairman of Tata Sons, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai early Monday morning after suffering a significant drop in blood pressure.
He was brought in critical condition and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, being supervised by a specialized medical team led by cardiologist Dr. Sharukh Aspi Golwalla. His condition is under close monitoring. Further updates are awaited.
