An argument between a taxi driver and airport security guards turned violent. The driver and his two friends attacking two security guards with sticks. The incident took place near Shahibaug Cantonment
Ravisingh Tomar, a private security guard at the Ahmedabad airport, was on duty managing traffic earlier in the day. At that time, he had an argument with taxi driver Karan Rabari over parking the taxi. Though the matter was resolved at the time, Rabari held a grudge.
Later that night, as Tomar was heading home on his two-wheeler with his friend and fellow guard Mohammad Ali, they were stopped by Rabari and his friends Vishal Bharwad and Bharat Rabari. The three men attacked the guards with wooden sticks on Shahibaug Cantonment Road, knocking them to the ground.
Locals quickly gathered and the attackers fled the scene. Tomar, who was injured in the attack, filed a complaint at Shahibaug police station. The police have registered a case against the three men and are investigating the incident.
