Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC)’s health department teams had collected samples of food items for laboratory tests from variout outlets. Four of the samples have failed the tests.
Paneer used in Prabhu Bhajipav & Snacks outlet in Shahibaug area, fryms sold by Shri Ranchhodrai Provision Stores in Viratnagar road area, green chutney catered by Appetina The Banquet & Restaurant in Indrapuri area and Paneer used by Baba Dipsinh Punjabi Dhaba in Aslali are found to be substandard as per the AMC note.
AMC release informs that during 11 to 24 August 622 units are checked and 484 kg and 383 liter food items are destroyed for lack of prescribed quality standards.
