The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has found three more bank accounts of Assistant Town Development Officer (TDO) Harshad Bhojak. These accounts — in the Central Bank of India, Bank Of Baroda and Canara Bank – have been frozen. ACB is now investigating this case right from the year 1985 when Bhojak had joined the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, said sources. ACB had seized Rs 73 lakh and gold biscuits worth Rs 4.50 lakh from Bhojak’s residence at Pragati Nagar.
It searched his bank on Friday and found gold biscuits and silver bars worth Rs 30 lakh and gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 40 lakh. It is worth mentioning that Bhojak and his private aide Aashish Patel were caught accepting a bribe of Rs 20 lakh from a complainant for getting an alternative piece of land as his ancestral property was demolished
