The special operations group of the city police has apprehended two individuals with MD drugs worth ₹6.47 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off about drug trafficking near Shah Alam, the SOG conducted a raid in an apartment where it found MD drugs valued at ₹6.47 lakh. Two individuals engaged in drug peddling, namely Sahinbanu Syed and Aamir Khan Pathan, were arrested and are being questioned. Meanwhile, the name of another female peddler from the Ramol area, Shirin Banu Sheikh, has come to light in this case, and she is currently absconding.
The SOG has registered a complaint against all three accused. Sahinbanu and Aamir are being questioned. Both arrested individuals claim that they obtained the drugs from Shirin of Ramol and then sold them in retail. However, authorities believe that once the main accused is apprehended, more details may emerge.
