In response to the severe heat in Ahmedabad, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has declared a red alert and is implementing various measures to mitigate the effects. The intense heat poses a threat to organisms living in trees, prompting voluntary organisations and fire brigade personnel to undertake efforts to provide relief.
They have been sprinkling water on trees in different areas of the city, including Gujarat College, Shahpur, Kathwara, and Nikol, to help the trees cope with the extreme temperatures.
