Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in the city has added five new parking stands at Terminal 2 in its latest upgrade.
This expansion brings the total number of parking stands to 18, up from the previous 13, accommodating a range of aircraft used by both domestic and select international airlines.
The expansion also includes the installation of four new aerobridges, doubling the total to eight. Additionally, the implementation of the Multiple Aircraft Ramp System (MARS) on four existing aerobridges optimizes stand utilization, enhancing operational efficiency.
