The railway over-bridge linking Bopal-Ghuma to Shilaj has seen five years of construction efforts, with 80 percent of work completed as of now. While engineers target an August 2024 completion, local residents face a pressing issue stemming from construction challenges.
Of particular concern is the situation at the bridge’s Shilaj end, where a nearby wall stands within 30 feet of the structure, significantly constricting the adjacent lane to a mere 10 to 12 feet. This congestion creates a bottleneck for drivers descending from the bridge, leading to operational difficulties.
