The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Ahmedabad, cautioning residents of escalating temperatures over the next four days. According to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Heat Action Plan bulletin, the city’s maximum temperature is forecasted to surpass the 42-degree mark by May 6th.
With Thursday already witnessing a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23.8 degrees Celsius, residents are urged to take precautionary measures to combat the impending heatwave.
