The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority has initiated actions against over 25 developers in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Surat for marketing projects without the necessary approvals. A fine of Rs 1.5 lakh has been imposed on a developer in Ahmedabad.
Penalties across Ahmedabad
To date, 11 developers in Ahmedabad are facing fines for employing the ‘Expression of Interest (EoI)’ tactic, promoting their properties through various advertising mediums.
Broad enforcement across city zones
Notices have been served to projects in both the eastern and western parts of Ahmedabad, including areas like Gandhinagar. Noteworthy among them are projects such as Venue 82 in Shilaj, Ananta Arise opposite Nirma University, and Arise Vibrant in Chharodi in western Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, Aristo The Opus & Atmantan scheme near Gota Bridge was penalised Rs 1.5 lakh for putting hoarding without RERA registration.
In the eastern part of the city, Prakruti Residency in Vastral, Elegance in Jundal, Rajvi Exotica in Nikol, and Ganesh Valencia in Naroda have been notified. Additionally, Pushkar Industrial and Logistic Park in Changodar and Shikhar Shahjanand in the Sargasan area of Gandhinagar have also received notices.
