Viral infection cases have seen a continuous rise since the start of 2024. The first week of April alone has recorded over 1500 cases. Additionally, the recent spike in temperatures, reaching around 40 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad, raises concerns about increased incidents of diarrhea, vomiting, and heatstroke, potentially exacerbating viral infection risks.
The forthcoming cloudy weather and rain forecasted by the weather department may further elevate the likelihood of viral infections.
