The Indian Meteorological Department in its latest weather forecast bulletin, has predicted the possibility of light rain this week in a few districts on April 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th. Additionally, discomfort conditions due to hot and humid air are very likely to prevail over the coastal areas of Saurashtra-Kutch during the next 5 days.
According to the IMD bulletin, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region, namely Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar and Dahod on April 11th.
On April 12th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region, namely Bharuch, Surat, and Navsari.
From April 13th to 8:30 am on April 14th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Bharuch, Surat, and Navsari; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, and in Diu.
The bulletin also stated that the mercury is likely to touch 40 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad and neighboring areas.
