A viral video shows a few men exchanging blows in the stands while a significant crowd surrounds them.
The video was shared on the X platform, which has been doing the rounds on social media.
It was a lively game throughout, where the Ahmedabad crowd could be seen booing the opponent’s turncoat captain, Hardik Pandya, a former winning and finalist captain of their side.
Gujarat’s Sai Sudharsan put up a stellar performance of 45 in 39 balls to put up a total of 168 for the home side. Mumbai failed to chase it down by 7 runs, with Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis contributing 43 in 29 balls and 46 in 38 balls, respectively.
Gujarat won the game by 6 runs, with Sudharsan named man of the match.
