IISc Bengaluru announced the results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2024) held from Feb. 03-11, 2024 across 30 disciplines. A total of 6.8 lakh candidates applied for the examination. Victor Azad, a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) student of IITRAM, Ahmedabad secured an All India Rank (AIR) 8 in Electronics & Communication Engineering and AIR 628 in Computer Science & Information Technology. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from IISc, Bangalore.
GATE is a national level examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts. A valid GATE score allows students to pursue further studies in top institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs etc. in India.
