The body of a 19-year-old man from Chandkhed was found from the Narmada canal near Kadi Y-junction in Mehsana. He had gone missing on the evening of Feb 29, Police suspect that Milan Suthar, a resident of Abugiri Society in Chandkheda, was murdered.
Milan’s father Kaushik Suthar has filed a complaint of abduction against Mit Rabari who lives in the same society.
Milan’s body was spotted by some locals in Kadi who called the cops after which Chandkheda police informed his family.Mit has been missing after the incident.
Kaushik, who works at a petrol pump in Gota, has twin sons, Milan and Mohit. Both completed their ITI vocational course.
While Mohit is employed at a private firm, Milan was unemployed. when Milan did not return home till late in the night on Feb 29, his family tried reaching him, but his phone was switched off.
When they inquired with his friends, they said that Mit had called up Milan after which the duo went somewhere on Mit’s motorcycle. When Kaushik went to Mit’s house, the latter was not present there. Mit’s father told Kaushik that they were also looking for him.
However, on March 1, Mit’s family left their house and went incommunicado. Police suspect Mit might have killed Milan over a personal dispute, but things will be clear only after his arrest.
