The Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced the examination date for the recruitment of 5554 government job posts. The Board stated that the examination is scheduled to commence on April 1 and will span over 20 days. Additionally, the Board announced that candidates can download the call letter for the exam from the OJAS website starting March 21.
Addressing reporters, GSSSB official mentioned that the government, in the first week of January through advertisement no. 212, had announced the exam to fill the 5554 Class III positions. Now, for these posts, the preliminary competitive examination is set to begin in April. The preliminary screening test will start on April 1st and conclude on May 8th. In Group A, recruitment will fill 1926 positions, and in Group B, 3628 positions will be filled. Around 5.5 lakh individuals have applied for the exams.
The exam will be held in 4 shifts per day. The first paper will start at 9 am, and the last paper will end at 5:30 pm. Each exam will be one hour long and based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with four options provided for each question. Correct answers will earn 1 mark, while incorrect options will incur a 0.25 negative marking deduction.
