The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 students who took Gujarati subject on Tuesday complained that 23 marks questions out of total 80 marks were out of syllabus and hence they could not attempt those.
The CBSE final exams began from Feb 15 and regional language exams for Class 10 students were held on Tuesday. The students who had opted for Gujarati language were shocked when they could not understand questions with 23 marks in total and complained it to the exam centre superintendent.
The superintendent also checked the question papers and found that the students’ complaints were right. The superintendent has informed the board about the mistake and the board will check the paper and announce a further decision. Questions from chapters that were removed in the last academic session 2022-23, were part of the question paper this year.
