Amdavad Municipal Corporation has sealed Ghee Gud restaurant in Prahladnagar area of Ahmedabad for the presence of bugs in food and catering of stale food items. AMC has sent the samples of sweet chatni and sev khamni items to its laboratory for tests. AMC team found bugs in kitchen of this restaurant and also spotted insects in the water used to make pani puri. Drainage line’s shutter were also broken in kitchen.
AMC team also served a closure notice to Jalaram Parotha outlet located near Maheta Bhavan in Maninagar after insects and bugs were found in food items. The unit had not conducted pest control treatment. The AMC team took samples of dal and manchurian from the outlet for laboratory tests.
AMC team spotted unhygienic conditions in Maninagar’s Swapn complex based Real Paprika’s kitchen. The restaurant was slapped with Rs. 15,000 fine. AMC team collected a garlic paste sample and sent it to the laboratory.
Rs. 15,000 fine was also implemented on Shapath-3 based Uncle Donal Pizza for bugs in food.
