A fire broke out this morning in the server room of an IT company located on the 6th floor of Ananta Abode & Ananta Space, on Jagatpur Road in the city. In response, four fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to the location. As the fire erupted, the company’s staff evacuated the premises, and no loss of life has been reported. The fire brigade successfully brought the fire under control and implemented the necessary measures to extinguish the smoke.
According to the Ahmedabad Fire Brigade Control Room, they received reports of a fire on the sixth floor of a complex near Jagatpur Char Road, leading to the dispatch of four fire brigade vehicles. Upon arrival, it was found that the server room of the IT company was ablaze. The fire brigade team used a water cannon to control the fire.
The fire was swiftly brought under control. Station Officer Anirudh Singh Gadhvi confirmed that the fire was extinguished with the help of the complex’s installed fire system. The fire, originating in the AC and server rooms of the IT company, was rapidly contained, preventing any loss of life. Occupants of offices within the complex were promptly evacuated. As there are two to three hospitals in the complex, patients were also evacuated.
