The draft budget for Amdavad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) was revealed yesterday, totaling Rs. 641 crore for the upcoming fiscal year. Transport Manager Arjav Shah announced plans for multimodal transport hubs at key locations like Memnagar, Akhbarnagar, and RTO Depot, facilitating AMTS, BRTS, and Metro connectivity.
Furthermore, the plan entails the introduction of 7 double-decker buses in the initial phase. Come March, an additional 100 new AC buses will hit the roads, extending service coverage to a total of 150 routes.
