The pre-board exam for class 10 students, ahead of their final Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, commenced today and will continue until February 6. Approximately 46,000 school students from 552 schools in the city are appearing in these pre-boards.
The Ahmedabad district education officer had earlier announced that these pre-boards would cover all major subjects, such as languages, standard and basic mathematics, science and technology, and social sciences in Ahmedabad City.
There will be papers for subjects, namely English, Gujarati, standard mathematics and basic mathematics, science, and social sciences.
The exam schedule has been aligned with the upcoming board exams in March to ensure that students are already prepared and not stressed. The question papers follow the same format as the board exam, each with a total of 80 marks.
