The district court granted conditional bail to Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Dediapada, Chaitar Vasava, in connection with a case of extortion, firing, and assault on forest officials at his residence in Bogaj village under his constituency.
The AAP leader, who surrendered on December 14th after being on the run for over a month, was granted bail by the court of Principal District and Sessions Judge N. R. Joshi. Vasava has been granted conditional bail and will be released from Rajpipla jail tomorrow, January 23rd.
According to the conditions set for bail, the Dediapada MLA is not allowed to enter the Narmada district until the trial in the case is over. He is allowed to stay anywhere else, for which he will need to submit the address and contact details.
