Preparations are underway to make way for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony for the Ram Temple of Ayodhya. Amdavadis are gearing up for various proceedings.
In light of this, many markets from the Old city, including Manek Chowk Choksi Mahajan, Ratan Pol Sona Chandi Dagina Mahajan, and the Ahmedabad Electrical Merchants and Contractors’ Association, have declared a holiday on this day. Additionally, city trade associations are planning to observe the day off in solidarity.
