Western Railways announced two weekly trains between Bandra and Barmer, passing through several districts of Gujarat.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, 02 pairs of Humsafar Weekly Express between Bandra Terminus and Barmer have been introduced, and their details are as follows:
1.Train No. 12997 / 12998 Bandra Terminus – Barmer Humsafar Weekly Superfast Express
Train No. 12997 Bandra Terminus – Barmer Humsafar Weekly Superfast Express will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday at 23.55 hrs. & will reach Barmer at 17.55 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 3rd January, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 12998 Barmer – Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Barmer every Thursday at 22.50 hrs, & will arrive Bandra Terminus at 15.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th January, 2024.
Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Patan, Bhildi, Raniwara, Marwar Bhinmal, Modran, Jalor, Mokalsar, Samdari, Balotra and Baytu station in both directions.
This train comprises of AC 3 – Tier and Sleeper Class coaches.
2.Train No. 19009 / 19010 Bandra Terminus – Barmer Humsafar Weekly Express
Train No. 19009 Bandra Terminus – Barmer Humsafar Weekly Express will depart from Bandra Terminus every Friday at 19.25 hrs. & will reach Barmer at 13.30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th January, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 19010 Barmer – Bandra Terminus Express will depart from Barmer every Saturday at 21.30 hrs, & will arrive Bandra Terminus at 15.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th January, 2024.
